About the role
Provides security and safety to the hotel/casino, all employees and guests of the hotel/casino complex.
Responsibilities
- Provides guests with assistance and directions.
- Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of chip fills and credits.
- Operates card and dice destruction room.
- Maintains surveillance of property/casino entrances, checks for underage gamblers and coordinates any suspicious activities with security management.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous law enforcement or Security experience is preferred.
- Must have keen observation and reporting skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to obtain CPR certification.
- A valid NJ Driver’s License is preferred.
- Required to perform the customer service standards of the department.
- Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act, as well as company and internal controls, policies and procedures.
- CER License is required.
