As a Security Officer in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help manage access at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to industrial and engineering locations by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, parking areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations in clear and accurate reports.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
