About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Kansas City, MO, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a visible, approachable presence, helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Staff the front desk and greet, screen, and direct visitors in a professional manner while maintaining accurate visitor logs and issuing appropriate credentials.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering inquiries, receiving deliveries, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
