Security Officer Full Time Tablet Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Tablet Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Use your communication and technology skills to support a welcoming environment while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and common areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and coordinate with emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting the protection of technology assets, equipment, and operational areas in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.50 / Hour
