Security Officer Full Time Spanish Patrol

About the role
As a Full Time Security Officer (Spanish Patrol) in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of security-related experience.
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Customer service experience.

$19.00 / hour
