Security Officer Full Time Site Observation

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location in Clifton, NJ, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related needs with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, suspicious activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.96 / hour
