As a Healthcare Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations while communicating professionally and responding with care
• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other hospital personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and access‑related concerns
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures
• Document incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
