About the role

As an Access Control professional at a manufacturing and industrial location in Fountain Inn, SC, you will help manage badge access, monitor entry points and alarm activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or unauthorized access.
  • Support a professional, orderly industrial location by communicating clearly with site personnel and documenting observations, incidents, and access-related activities.

Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
