Security Officer Full Time Secure Entry Operations

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Secure Entry Operations in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and assist with security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a professional, visible presence that helps deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen incoming contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel; direct authorized individuals to designated areas; and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
