Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Intake in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support site operations through reliable attention to established procedures.

• DayTime: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and applicable procedures.
• Verify identification, maintain visitor and delivery records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe loading dock and warehouse activity, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the perimeter.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
