As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Documentation in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Your role will involve screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns to support a secure environment and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established site procedures; report prohibited items, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, delivery documentation, and access credentials before permitting entry to restricted or controlled logistics areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
