As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Attendant in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Pay

Schedule

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers entering the facility in accordance with site policies, including verifying identification, credentials, and authorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, visitor activity, and/or delivery traffic; document required information and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; observe for unauthorized access, hazards, and/or irregular conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
