As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Associate in North Brunswick, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, team-focused culture. Pay

$18.50 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with access-control procedures.
• Inspect identification, visitor credentials, shipments, packages, and/or vehicles as directed by site policies, documenting discrepancies and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
