Security Officer Full Time Screener

About the Role

As a Full Time Screener in Wahiawa, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in the food and beverage industry. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening individuals, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. This role provides outstanding customer service, clear communication with visitors and team members, and supports a culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees at a food and beverage retail location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas, verify authorized access as required, and report suspicious activity or prohibited items according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, delivery zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, access activity, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.12 per hour.
