Security Officer Full Time Route Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Route Patrol Driver in Southfield, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with property policies; report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Schedule: Monday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
