Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver in Hereford, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly in the food and beverage sector. This role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production-adjacent spaces, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and relevant observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
