Security Officer Full Time Reception Security

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will create a welcoming first impression by greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring entry activity, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive presence and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, issue and collect visitor badges as directed, and support front-desk administrative and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and escalation protocols.
• Observe front-desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
