Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
Manage front-desk access activities by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
Monitor incoming communications, receive and direct calls, and communicate visitor arrivals, delivery activity, and other relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Maintain awareness of lobby and reception-area activity, report suspicious or unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
