Security Officer Full Time Reception

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will provide a welcoming presence, manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, and support security-related procedures. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a front-desk post within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, issue authorized visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Receive and direct visitors, calls, deliveries, and service personnel while communicating applicable security-related policies and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoffs while supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
