Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Specialist

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Specialist at a premier commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients by managing access, greeting visitors, supporting badge processes, and responding to security-related concerns. Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk, assisting tenants, visitors, and vendors with access procedures and general information.
• Monitor visitor entry, maintain accurate visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and communicate arrivals to appropriate tenant contacts.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, including access control, key or package handling, and documentation of daily activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe activity in the lobby and adjacent entry areas, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.25 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time overnight shift:

• Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
