Security Officer Full Time Radio Dispatcher

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Radio Dispatcher in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and help direct responses to security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service, and help support smooth operations for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
• Receive and coordinate incoming calls, radio traffic, and dispatch requests; communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel in a clear, professional, and timely manner
• Monitor access points, vehicle activity, delivery schedules, and/or alarm and camera systems; document observations and report unusual activity according to site procedures
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other required documentation using site-provided systems and tools
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred
• A guard card or license is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Pay

$27.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time, Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
