Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.28 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime shift: Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Wednesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
