About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location in Forest, MS, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and assist with security-related needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; verify credentials and maintain required logs.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with established reporting procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Experience with access control and badges.

$15.20 / hour
