Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, gates, and/or entry areas, verify credentials when required, and support the orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site expectations.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or policy concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
