Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, helping to support daily operations and awareness of security-related concerns across the location.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
