Security Officer Full Time Patrol Specialist

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain visibility to deter security incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with property management or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, parking areas, common areas, and perimeters to identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other assigned access points to support authorized access, visitor direction, and overall property operations.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, sharing relevant information with Allied Universal supervisors and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Day shift: 01:00 AM – 09:00 AM
• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
