As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Specialist in Whitehall, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Provide exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with visitors and staff. Use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations while contributing to a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, review visitor and contractor entry activity, and report unusual conditions or access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.11 per hour
