Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Jeffersonville, IN, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel and guests.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
