Job Description: As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and property teams while documenting observations and responding to routine concerns. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence for the property.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
