Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspector

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspector in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and inbound and outbound deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and incoming personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour. Schedule: Day Time, Monday through Friday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM.
