Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driving Role

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Driving Security Officer in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This armed patrol officer role supports a government corrections location, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security concerns, and providing professional communication and customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or personnel activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Armed guard card/license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.50 / Hour

• Wednesday: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
