About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Driver Route Verification Security Officer in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and employees. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot patrols throughout the retail location, entrances, sales floor, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy concerns, or potential hazards; report findings according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting a welcoming shopping environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
