Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location in Overland Park, KS. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This full-time driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escort requests, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.45 / hour

• Tuesday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Wednesday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Thursday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Friday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
