As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Credential Verification in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related concerns, including suspicious behavior, access issues, and potential loss-prevention matters, and document observations in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, store-related inquiries, and coordination with onsite personnel and local responders when needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
