As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and alarm response, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing authorized guests to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
