Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Jackson, TN, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or maintenance-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.14 / hour

Schedule

• Daytime shift: 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
