About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Seattle, WA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while using technology to document security-related observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with property management and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

$24.55 / hour
