Security Officer Full Time Access Records

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Records in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site personnel while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor requirements; maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access gates, buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
• Full Time
• Day Time: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
