About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Hebron, KY, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity, policy violations, or maintenance concerns.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications using required systems and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Pay

$18.25 per hour.

Schedule

  • Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
