Security Officer Full Time Morning Shift Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a full‑time, morning‑shift Security Officer to patrol a technology‑focused location in Olive Branch, MS. The role involves safeguarding clients in industries such as tech, media, and telecommunications while providing visible, professional security presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment while helping deter unauthorized access, property damage, and disruptive behavior.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Pay

$16.50 per hour

Schedule

• Monday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
