Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public personnel, and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted locations for unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and document security-related concerns according to post procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, crowd management, and directional assistance during service disruptions, special events, and/or high-traffic periods.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
