Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report observations to the appropriate contact for follow-up.
• Support retail operations during opening, closing, and peak traffic periods by helping manage access points, directing guests, and addressing security-related concerns with professionalism.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
