Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Security in Liberty Township, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic or crowd-management needs during routine operations and special events.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour
