As a Security Officer Full Time Mall Patrol in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and a caring people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
