About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Thursday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Friday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Saturday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
