Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol

Allied Universal® is seeking a Full‑Time Security Officer for Hospital Patrol in Seattle, WA. The unarmed patrol officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, professional communication, and integrity in responding to security‑related needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.90 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
