About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Access in Aiken, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Maintain access control functions and assist with sensitive locations such as the morgue.
  • Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
