Security Officer Full Time Hospital

About the role

As a Full Time Security Officer at a healthcare location in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Willingness to work in a hospital morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age (18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
