Security Officer Full Time First Shift

Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in required reports.
• Support the orderly flow of personnel and vehicles while following site‑specific traffic, inspection, and incident‑reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Monday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM; Tuesday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM; Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM; Sunday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
