Security Officer Full Time - 1st Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time - 1st Shift in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel, access control, and badge experience are preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
